Saint Christina of Persia is a Persian-speaking Christian church rooted in Scripture, prayer, worship, and the courageous witness of Persian Christians across history and diaspora.
We are shaped by the Anglican tradition while welcoming seekers, families, new believers, and Persian-speaking people who long for Christ, community, and spiritual depth.

The name we carry
Why Saint Christina?
We chose the name Saint Christina of Persia because her story holds together what we believe: Persian identity, Christian faith, courage, and costly witness. Born Yazdoi, remembered as Christina, she stands as a Persian woman whose faith in Christ became stronger than fear, pressure, and the demands of her age.
Her name reminds us that Christianity is not foreign to Persian history. It has deep roots in the lands, languages, and suffering of our people.
In our own time, as Iranian women have become symbols of courage, conscience, and dignity, the witness of a Persian female saint carries a particular meaning. We do not carry her name as a political slogan, but as a sacred reminder: faith, dignity, and freedom of conscience are worth living for.

Mission
Beyond one church.
Our mission is to serve our local Persian-speaking community in Southern California and to reach beyond our borders to Persian-speaking nations and diaspora communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are building worship, pastoral care, discipleship, leadership development, and church-planting capacity for Persian-speaking people wherever God opens the door.
